Short answers
How long is a visit?
Visits run 20, 30 or 45 minutes. Added time comes in 10-minute steps. A first visit begins with a short talk, which is part of the time.
Do I have to get on a table?
No. A seated session is in a sturdy chair with arms, over your clothes.
What do I wear?
Soft clothes that are easy to move in. On a table you undress only as far as you are comfortable, and a sheet covers you the whole time.
Can someone come with me?
Yes. A family member, friend or caregiver can sit beside you or wait in the front room.
How do I set the pressure?
Pearline asks before she starts and checks again partway. Say lighter or firmer whenever you like.
Can I stop?
Yes, at any time and for any reason. She stops right away.
How often should I come?
As often as suits you. Some people come once a month, and some every two weeks through the winter.
Should I tip?
Tipping is welcome and never expected.
Should I see my doctor first?
If you have a heart condition, take blood thinners, have swelling in a leg or have had recent surgery or a fall, ask your doctor before you book.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask for 24 hours' notice to move a visit. If you are unwell, tell us and we will find another day.
